Quest Through Distractions
59You move into a bright green room, barely furnished with pink tables in the shape of ibis birds. The air smells like freshly cooked fairy cakes, but it had a hint of sick lingering in the room, but you soon get used to that. All around are squishy looking monkey type things, hobbling around with their long hairy arms dragging behind them, looking for something on the floor. You just wanna pick one up a poke your finger into their round play-dough like bellies… Concentrate! You can play with the monkey dough things later; right now you are trying to find the little jelly belly man. That little sucker’s a wile one, just keeps getting away.
You look around the room, you know he came in here, but where could he have gone? It’s then that you spot it, the little door right in the corner. It’s shiny and as soon as you see it you just can’t stop looking at it. It’s all shimmery, like its moving. Walking closer you realise the little door has a million different colours making up its glossy surface. You kneel down and you just can’t help but to reach out and touch it. It’s just so pretty and mesmerising. The tips of you fingers gently brush against the surface, its cold, freezing actually, like all of the dancing colours are trapped in ice. The coldness travels up your arm and into your chest, you notice it, it hurts a little, you know you should take you hand away and stop the cold from creeping any further into your body, but you cant, it’s just so pretty.
The cold starts to wrap its self around your limbs crawls up your neck, its difficult to breathe now, your breaths become shorter, sharper. Your head starts to become heavy. The frosty grasp on your body suddenly envelops you and you pass out.

It's rare these days that stories are written in second-person form...I like it! Down the road, you may have another idea to add to this, you never know. Good first hub! FYI, I did read it, see???
